If this seems like too much trouble, and all you want to do is add an event and forget about it, you can go back to the add page and click on the "Add an event fast" link.

Register with SpiritBase

You must enter a username and password. Email address is optional, but if you enter one, you have the option to receive a confirmation email which will contain your username and password for your records.

If you are already registered with SpiritBase, just enter your username and password. If you're not registered, then click the "New User" button. If you've chosen a username that is already in use, this screen will reload with an error message.
